Biofeedback Training Sessions:
Biofeedback refers to procedures and instruments used to measure physiological function, such as cardiovascular activity, respiration, skin temperature, and brain waves in real time and transform such measurements into visual or auditory signals. The signals are then interpreted by a therapist and feedback is given to demonstrate how cognitions, emotions, and behavior can change physiological responses. Biofeedback has shown to be able to alter physiology, such as by reducing muscular tension, headaches, blood pressure, and has been shown to be effective in significantly reducing in anxiety, depression, and cravings for addictive substances.
