This 12 week group is based on Marsha Linehan’s Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Within this group, participants will learn and refine skills to manage emotions and changedysfunctional thinking patterns and behavior.
Specific Goals:
Decrease:
1. Interpersonal chaos
2. Unstable moods and emotions
3. Impulsiveness
4. Confusion about self
Increase:
1. Interpersonal effectiveness skills
2. Emotion regulation skills
3. Distress tolerance skills
4. Core mindfulness skills
The group meets on Thursdays, 5:30-7:00.
