Clinical Services - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction



This program aims to assist clients in developing healthy lifestyle habits and decreasing stress through mindfulness, guided breathing and relaxation training, and gentle yoga. Mindfulness based interventions are a form of complementary medicine that promote the cultivation of greater awareness of the mind and body.

  • 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course: This 8 week course includes weekly classes teaching stress reduction techniques and helping clients cultivate balance and well-being in their daily lives.

  • 12 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course: This 12 week course includes weekly classes teaching stress reduction techniques and helping clients cultivate balance and well-being in their daily lives. This class is intended for individuals who would like a longer course of stress reduction treatment.

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Workshop Series: This Workshop series is designed for those who are looking for a brief introduction to or re-acquaintance with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Each workshop is 2 hours long.

    • Introduction Workshop: this workshop introduces the key concepts of MBSR and participants are guided in several mindfulness practices to explore the mind-body connection and cultivate a sense of calm and relief.

    • Intermediate Workshop: this workshop is geared toward the individual who has some experience with Mindfulness and would like to advance their understanding and practice.

    • Experiential Workshop: This workshop is intended for those who have completed an MBSR course or the intermediate workshop or those who have an established personal mindfulness practice and would like a means of reconnecting with or deepening their practice.

  • Mindfulness Retreat I: This 6 hour retreat day is for those with little to no meditation experience and gives the participant an in depth overview of Mindfulness based practices and opportunities to practice mindfulness under the guidance of experienced teachers.

  • Mindfulness Retreat II: This 6 hour retreat day is for those with meditation experience who are looking to deepen their practice with a day of guided mindfulness practices and experiential exercises.

  • Mindfulness Based Individual Sessions: Our experienced MBSR instructors are available for one on one instruction in mindfulness based practices.
